In-Home Pet Sitting That Keeps Them Comfortable — and Keeps You Worry-Free

Leaving town doesn’t have to mean disrupting your pet’s entire world. At Pawzitive Pet Care, our in-home pet sitting services are designed to keep your animals safe, loved, and relaxed — all from the comfort of their own home.

We know that not every pet thrives in a boarding environment. Some are anxious away from home. Others have medical needs, routines, or sensitivities that require quiet, stable care. That’s where we come in.

Whether you need overnight care for your dog, daily check-ins for your cat, or help managing multiple pets while you’re away, we offer flexible options grounded in kindness, reliability, and respect for your home and your animals.

Overnight Stays: Peace of Mind from Dusk to Dawn

For dogs, our overnight sitting service is the most stress-free alternative to boarding. One of our trusted caregivers stays in your home from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, ensuring your dog isn’t left alone overnight, and their routine stays consistent. Add-on daytime walks or midday visits can be arranged to give your dog even more continuity and care.

This is ideal for dogs who:

Struggle with separation anxiety

Don’t do well in group settings or kennels
Are senior dogs with medical needs
Thrive on routine and human companionship

During overnight stays, your dog receives:

A quiet evening walk or backyard time
Dinner and fresh water
Calm companionship and supervision throughout the night
Morning walk or playtime before we leave
Medication administration, if needed

Daytime Visits for Cats and Small Animals

Cats are often happiest at home, and we respect that. For feline families and homes with small animals (like rabbits, guinea pigs, or birds), we offer drop-in visits during the day.

These visits are available once or twice daily, depending on your needs, and can include:

Feeding and fresh water
Litter box scooping and cleanup
Medication or insulin administration (if needed)
Enrichment and playtime (for social cats)
Calm, respectful companionship

We also care for fish tanks, reptiles, and other pets upon request, with careful attention to their specific care needs.

“Our cat Harper is very particular, and we’ve had sitters in the past who didn’t seem to get her. Pawzitive Pet Care not only kept her calm and well-fed, they actually made a connection with her. We came home to a happy, relaxed cat, which has never happened before.”

Your Home Is Treated With Respect

We know it’s a big decision to let someone stay in your home. Our team is composed of trusted professionals who treat your space as carefully as they treat your pets.

During each visit or overnight stay, we:

Follow your specific home and pet care instructions
Maintain a clean and secure environment
Water plants, bring in mail, and rotate lights if requested
Leave detailed notes or digital updates about each visit

You’ll always know who’s in your home, and we’ll keep you informed while you’re away — with regular check-ins and honest communication.

The Pawzitive Difference in Pet Sitting

We don’t believe in cookie-cutter care. Our sitting services are tailored to your pets’ personalities, your routine, and your comfort level. We take the time to get to know your animals, learn your expectations, and make every visit as smooth and loving as possible.

We don’t just show up — we become an extension of your pet’s circle of trust.

Booking and Requirements

Dogs must be boarded with us or have someone staying overnight in your home (we do not offer drop-in visits for dogs without an overnight sitter).
Cat and small animal homes can choose between one or two daytime visits.
All pets must be up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention.

Reach out today to learn more, schedule a meet-and-greet, or reserve your pet-sitting dates.

We’d love to care for your animals while you’re away — and keep things as close to normal as possible until you return.
